Fabriek: De Vuurvogel Milsbeek

In 1953, Wim Jansen, following a setback at De Olde Kruyk, co-founded the pottery workshop De Vuurvogel in Milsbeek with his brother-in-law, Jan Koenen. Wim was responsible for the pottery turning and sales, while Jan handled the decoration work. Jan developed a unique style, giving De Vuurvogel’s creations a distinctive and characteristic appearance. The product range included tableware and unique items, all crafted by hand and hand-painted.

The turning work was predominantly done by Wim Jansen, with decorations executed by his brother Jan Jansen. The company specialized in producing decorative earthenware and tableware, emphasizing craftsmanship and artistic expression.

Today, the company is managed by Wim's son Mart.
