In 1925, the company name was changed to N.V. de Rijn, and later changed again to Potterie Zaalberg. In 1937, the business was handed over to his son Meindert. In 1962, the pottery was once again taken over by the sons Gijb and Herman Jr. Meindert himself started his own studio "Pottershuis Ommen" in Ommen. From 2001, only unique pieces were produced. They manufactured decorative earthenware, utility ceramics, and unique pieces.
